Georgia Convention

RECALCULATING!

It’s the theme for the 2009 NAFDMA Annual Convention.

We're in the midst of a soaring buy local food movement; Fluctuating fuel prices; An unstable economy; Rising unemployment numbers; New political administration; A global marketplace that’s just beginning to understand how interconnected it really is. These are just some of the reasons that every business needs to take a hard look at what is in store for its future.

Farm Direct Marketing and Agritourism businesses have recently completed their latest peak season. What have we learned? How do we sort through the good news in our industry and the bad news in the overall marketplace? What are our predictions for our industry’s future? Which trends are for real, and what new developments will we see?

This is likely the most necessary time in recent memory to join with friends and peers from across North America to network, discuss challenges, brainstorm opportunities, and reassess business realities. It’s time to RECALCULATE!!!

The backdrop for your Convention experience is Georgia , with its warm climate and warm people. We’ll start in beautiful Savannah ’s Historic District. We’ll end in Metropolitan Atlanta.

NAFDMA has RECALCULATED our convention format already!!!  For the past two years, we have been transitioning towards a new convention structure. We’ve looked hard at what sets NAFDMA apart from all other conventions. It’s all about your ability to NETWORK with peers from across North America . NAFDMA Networking is made up of three interconnected ideals. Innovate, Educate, Participate. Longtime NAFDMA members know, the more you bring to the NAFDMA sharing table, the more you take back home to your own business.

Every element of this year’s convention incorporates the theme with NAFDMA Networking. From our “New Fork Talk Exchange” to the “Celebrate Excellence Contests” to a brand new "Exhibitor's Demo and Presentations Stage;" and from our first group breakfast aboard the famed Savannah Riverboat to the last dinner of the tour at the Atlanta Airport Hilton, you’ll be immersed in an atmosphere where you just can’t help but be inspired to make the right changes in your business back home.

There’s really only ONE thing we didn’t RECALCULATE. That’s the cost of registration for NAFDMA’s ULTIMATE NETWORKERS. What’s an Ultimate Networker? That’s the person in years past who has registered for every Convention venue. The conference sessions and trade show, an advanced level workshop, the banquet, and the three-day bus tour.

Cost last year? $1,119.00 per person for members registering before the deadline.  ULTIMATE NETWORKERS' PACKAGE for this year. $1,119.00 per person for members registering before the deadline!!!

Join us!!!  Be an Ultimate Networker, and save!
